You must have a current approved adoption homestudy to proceed with an adoption. Most agencies require families to have a homestudy before they will release additional information about their listed situations. The only type of adoption that does not require a homestudy is stepparent adoption.
Here are links to websites that post situations not yet matched, some of the situations listed include children already born. This is not an endorsement of any of these agencies, please do your own investigations including joining adoption scam groups.
NACAC has details about adoption in every state including subsidy rates.
Here are some more tips that can help speed up your adoption. Carry a cell phone and include your cell phone number on all of your referral registrations. Add your cell phone number to your home answering machine so you don’t miss that important call. Invest in a fax scanner to send your homestudy fast on newborns without a pre-existing adoption plan. Have your financing lined up ahead of time and stay within your adoption budget. Then you can accept an emergency placement by acting quickly.
Do you know of an agency that list fees on their site? Feel free to add a link in the comment section.

Would you like to Go Green and stop contributing to landfills? Would you do it if you could buy green products at wholesale prices cheaper than name brand products? What if you could make enough every month to get your products for free? This business is showing double digit growth during this depressed economy. If you want to make the effort you can earn well-over a $100,000 a year. Pay a yearly membership fee to start $27, sort of like joining Sam’s Club or Cosco for a year. This is not a scam, both fostermommy and Julia Fuller have been members for over a year. Email either of us to ask how you can join.
