I agree. We need to stop these people. When 1 in 3-4 girls and 1 in 5-7 boys are sexually abused by age 18, we have an epidemic on our hands.

We live in a world inhabited

We live in a world inhabited with some of the sickest, most deranged people. Working as I do with disadvantaged and special needs youth, I hear a lot of stories of abuse. Each one is worse than the last. Each time I think "that's the sickest thing I've ever heard" I hear something even more evil. I can't even imagine how someone could survive this. It's critical that we understand how these evil people work so that we can bring as many of them to justice as possible.

"Sophisticated" pedophiles

Well done, Faith! Bless you for your views and observations on this topic. I wanted to clarify that "sophisticated" (meaning the perp knows how to create and use dissociation to his advantage) has nothing to do with a perp's appearance. I am familiar, unfortunately, with several perps who attack a former client. They look like uneducated "rednecks" driving around in their 4x4s with flannel shirts and smoking cigarettes. All of them are "protecting" their asset of a dissociated child self whom this multi-generational organized group of pedophiles has been abusing for over 50 years. The abuse began with an uncle in a "gang rape" setting when the woman was only 3-4 years old and knowledge was passed along as to how to call the child out. The child alter is 4 years old.

BTW, my community does not acknowledge such things exist and I was accused of being "overly involved" with my client for trying to get the police and other agencies to pay attention to the near constant harassment and abuse. The world is a very sad place sometimes.
