I heard there are some eating disorder treatments able to cure this kind of body magnetism and this is something caused by the products you guys eat. I'm not sure though, I'm not a doctor but at least this is what I heard so if I can help with anything I'm more than happy to do it.

Try a wind-up

It's not just traumatised children who have this - I do too. (Maybe it's due to coming from a 'broken home'?) Try wearing an old fashioned wind-up watch. They're not easy to come across these days, but a few manufacturers still make them. They're the only ones I can wear. I also seem to have an issue with blowing up computers, fax machines, & especially photocopiers. I have to be 'earthed' to the mains at home when I sit with a laptop!

Fascinating

I have noticed that may of my foster daughters go through watch batteries, but never realized it was a magnetism or abuse issue. Thanks. FM
