It's a shame

It's a shame when blogs go private, especially those that have value for a large number of people, such as blogs discussing adoption issues. I would imagine that seeing a blog shutting down can feel like losing a friend.

It is also a shame when blogs go private that are geared toward one side of the adoption triad. I learn so much hearing from other members of the adoption triad. When they go private, I lose my opportunity to understand adoption from a different angle.
