Faith Allen

Background

Faith and her husband adopted their son as a newborn in a domestic adoption when he was two days old. Their son has asthma and ADHD, so she knows something about parenting a child with special needs. Faith grew up in an abusive environment, so she can provide insight into the mind of the traumatized child. Faith's passion is encouraging others who are facing similar struggles that she has endured.

A woman named Faith Allen, who is also an adoptive mother and apparently a survivor of child abuse, has been in the news. She is a different person. This "Faith Allen" chose the name as a pen name to express "faith" in surviving both the child abuse and the adoption process.
