Personal Information

Background

I entered the world of adoption when we began the process of adopting our daughter Ella from Guatemala. Since then I have been active on adoption forums, and a professional blogger for Guatemalan adoption blogs since March 2007.

I am a passionate adoption advocate, and closely follow the politics that surround adoptions world wide, particularly in Guatemala where the adoption process is undergoing radical changes.

Ella came home to us in May 2007 and is now an active toddler. As older parents with three grown sons, having a young child in our life again is amazing, rewarding and challenging. We are truly blessed.
